The Board of the Farmers Market meets in February to review new applicants for the upcoming season. If space is available, new applicants may also be admitted to the Market during the market season.
Please read the Franklin County Farmers Market rules and vendor application as well as the Kentucky Department of Agriculture Farmers’ Market Manual.
How to Apply for the Regular Season:

Fill out vendor application (use this version if you want to print it and then fill it out and this fillable form if you want to download it, fill it out on the computer, and email it back.
Return vendor application to Kellie. New vendor applicants should wait to send a check until after the market board has reviewed their application.
While we accept applications all year, preference is given to producers who apply by February 1, 2024.
FCFM Membership Options:
Regular Member: These vendors must be farmers or producers from Franklin and adjacent counties. (Our bylaws also allow for the possibility of accepting a Kentucky producer from a more distant county if they offer a product that is not available at our market.) Regular vendors attend market regularly on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and/or Saturdays and are full market members who can serve on the market board and have voting rights.
Rotating Vendor: Kentucky producers and artisan craftspeople may apply to the market to sell on one week each month and at the Holiday Market. Rotating vendors must schedule dates they plan to attend in advance. Rotating vendors may request to come more regularly and pay a guest vendor fee for those additional sales weeks. Rotating vendors must be accepted by the market board, are not voting members of the market, and may not be elected to the market board.
Guest Vendor: Kentucky producers and artisan craftspeople may apply to sell at the market occasionally as a guest vendor (date(s) must be scheduled in advance). Guest vendors are accepted on a visit-by-visit basis by the market manager and are reviewed by the market board as necessary. Guest vendors receive no membership vote.
Food Truck Vendor: Food trucks and prepared-food vendors may apply to sell at the market occasionally (date(s) must be scheduled in advance). There is no fee for food truck vendors, and they are accepted on a visit-by-visit basis by the market manager and reviewed by the market board as necessary. Food truck vendors have no membership vote.
All vendors must follow all local and state health department regulations.
